A man on fire for the kingdom of God

These blog articles are for Christian or non-christian who wants a deeper understanding and insight about the kingdom of God. I believe these inspired articles will shift your thinking and cultivate your spirit to know and understand your role and purpose on this earth.

Hebrew 12:27-29

‘And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.’

On April 4, 2019, the Lord was talking with me about the relationship that he wants with his people, and He said my son, look at the trees and how they sway by the blowing of the wind on their own without resisting. This is the same way I want my people to move according to the moving of my Spirit and not according to their flesh.

In the natural, the element of fire has its laws, rule, and objective

  1.  The law of a fire is to define and maintain its territory.
  2. The rule of a fire is to go to wherever it is fed and maintained.
  3. The objective of a fire is to consume whatever is not of its nature.

Well, just as it is in the natural, it is the same way in the spiritual arena.

First, I must let you know that there is only one true fire in the spiritual arena: the fire of God. The Spirit of God is the fire of God, and in his operation, he has his laws, rules, and objective

  1. The law of the fire of God is to define and maintain his territories’
  2. The rule of the fire of God is to go and stay wherever he is fed and to maintain
  3. The objective of the fire of God is to consume everything that is not of its nature until only what is of him will stand.

Our God is a consuming fire

and anything God’s fire engulfed causes people to take notice and action.

1 Kings 18:20-40 Elijah and the false prophet.

Exodus 3:1-17 Moses and the burning bush.

Daniel 3:1-27 The three Hebrews boy in the fiery furnace and the fourth man in the fire.

Exodus 19:3-25 the Lord comes down on the mountain and manifests the glory.

Nowhere in the scriptures does it mention Satan or his emissaries having the nature of fire.

The enemy comes against the believer like a flood; he will come in sheep’s clothing, he will come like a roaring lion, but he can never come as consuming fire because a fire has its law, rules, and objective.

The devil has nothing of his own he is a copycat. Everything he does is based on what God had already created and regulates. Even Satan’s kingdom is set up based on what he saw in heaven before he was kicked out. Although he is a copycat, there is one thing he cannot copy, and that is the nature of fire.

As a kingdom citizen, you have the privilege of having God’s fire living in you. So, the devil will do anything to quench your fire.

Listen, the fire of God came to set people apart; purify and use them for his service.

Jesus said in

Luke 12:49

‘I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? ‘

Isaiah 6:1-8

‘In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. ‘

Luke 3:16

‘John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:’

The fire of God that was in the Old Testament is still with us today.

During the Old Testament period, the fire of God would come and rest upon the prophets for service except for the prophet Ezekiel whom the fire of God would enter in.

When the Holy Spirit rested on the prophets in the Old Testament, he came to use them for service, but When he entered the prophet, Ezekiel, he engulfed his entire being for unique service.

Ezekiel was used by the Holy Spirit very uniquely from the other prophets, and this was due to where the Holy Spirit resides.

But we are in a different position in Christ Jesus; the Fire of God enters and takes permanency within us for spiritual alignment and God’s service.

Once the fire of God enters you, everything in your life that can be shaken will be shaken until you become like him.

A blazing fire

An unquenchable fire

A fire that destroys demons

A fire that shapes destinies

A fire that shifts the atmosphere

A fire that shifts and aligns generations

A fire that breaks limitations

A fire that is undeniable

On the day of Pentecost, God’s fire showed up and shifted the scoop and reality of the Disciple’s entire being.

The disciples no longer saw themselves just as mere men, but they came to reality and consciousness of who was now living in them.

That is why they served God with so much fervency, passion, and zeal because their entire being was interwoven and intertwined by God’s fire.

They were men on fire

Men with a mission

Men with a vision

Men with purpose

That’s why Peter (Acts 3:6) could say to the cripple man silver and gold have I none; but such as I have to give I thee: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up an walk.

(Acts 5:1-11) That’s why Peter could say to Ananias and Sapphira, his wife after they lied about the proceeds from their Land. Peter said, you have not lied to man but to the Holy Spirit, and both fell dead.

That’s why after the demon-possessed kept annoying Paul with a prophecy from demons, Paul could turn and say, in the name of Jesus Christ, I command you to come out of her and at that same moment as he spoke, the demonic spirit left her. (Acts 16:18)

That is why everywhere Paul went, that city would go into an uproar, and people would say these are the men who turn cities upside down.

These men were on fire for God.

Anywhere God’s fire goes, that place should not be the same.

Anywhere God’s fire goes, heaven opens and hell must vacate.

Anywhere God’s fire goes, holiness enters and evil must vacate.

Anywhere God’s fire goes, righteousness resides and unrighteousness must vanish.

Anywhere God’s fire goes, sickness must vacate and give place to wholeness.

Anywhere God’s fire goes, demons must run and hide.

Anywhere God’s fire goes, people must be set free.

Anywhere God’s fire goes, souls must be saved.

Your destiny is to be a man on fire for God.

Take your rightful place and become that fire.

Be that man on fire.

Be that woman on fire.
